About
A unique project where artists present a collection of created and preserved planets through science fiction and science fact.
What if our planet became endangered? What if someone or something bigger "collected" it to save it? Like a tiger in a zoo, a fetus in a pickle jar or a butterfly pinned to a canvas on display in an exhibition.
For this project, participating artists have taken on the task of re-imagining a simple glass marble. Artists are asked to invent names, inhabitants and histories for these marble "planets" in order to create a response.
The Planetine project is run by Luna Morgana, dubbed the Planetine 'Overlord' by the participating artists.
